Applications are open to join the Adra Board of Directors which will be elected during the upcoming General Assembly of Adra on the 2nd of March 2023.
Applications are open for professionals who have the necessary competence, experience and knowledge in one or more of the three fields (AI, Data and Robotics) and is either an individual proposed by a Research Member or an individual proposed by an Industrial Member. There is always an even representation between the three fields of AI, Data and Robotics, as well as Research and Industry members. In practice this means that a candidate is required to pick one of the three disciplines, whereas the industry/research category is derived from the organisation proposing the candidate. The size of the board will be determined after the closing of the call of candidates, relative to the number of candidates for each of the aforementioned categories (e.g. 6, 12, or 18 seats).
Please note that Directors have a particular responsibility to ensure that the knowledge, views and experience of these disciplines are brought to bear for the benefit of the Association.

Several important dates in relation to this call are below but we ask candidates to please note especially the deadline for receipt of applications is the 16th of February 2023. This is a strict deadline.
• Jan 16 – BoD Approves GA voting procedure
• Jan 23 – Publish candidate instructions + application form
• Feb 9 – Open call for BoD candidates
• Feb 16 – Close call for candidates
• Feb 20 - Publish candidates
• March 2 (13h to 15h CET) - Voting during GA (i.e., results during GA)
Note that aspirant members (i.e. organisations that have not yet applied for membership) that wish to propose a candidate to the board, should send in their application for membership by February 10th). After provisional approval, the candidate can send in her/his candidature until Feb 16th 2023.
