The ADRA Topic Group “Mobility and Smart Urban Places” is focusing on transforming urban areas, and the contributions of AI and data technologies thereto. The TG approach addresses various topics, driven by AI-driven insights, including multimodal transport and mobility, urban and rural connectivity, digital and green strategies, connected mobility, demographic shifts, energy systems, social cohesion, land use, and efficient goods delivery. By integrating AI and data technologies with sustainability, the group aims to create smarter, inclusive, and environmentally friendly cities that cater to changing demographics and promote user acceptance of new technological solutions. The TG focus extends to optimising (urban) energy systems, (scarce) resource management, and fostering social coherence, contributing to the overall livability and resilience of urban environments.
