INESC-ID

INESC-ID is one of the largest research units in Computer Science in Portugal and a national reference in Computer Science and Engineering, consistently rated “Excellent” by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and operating as an autonomous, private, non-profit organization. With a team of over 160 PhD researchers and around 600 graduate students, INESC-ID plays a leading role in European research projects, public-private partnerships, and innovation through spin-offs. It is an active member of major international networks such as ELLIS, EuroHPC, ELIXIR, CAIRNE, and CoARA.
