The potential of AI and robotics in manufacturing remains untapped due to persistent concerns regarding safety and reliability. Hesitation to fully embrace these technologies is rooted in uncertainty about their capabilities. This limits the industry’s ability to adapt to the demands of the modern era. In this context, the EU-funded SoliDAIR project aims to pave the way towards a new era of transformative innovation. Involving 10 manufacturing, tech, and research experts, the project aims to revolutionise the industry by harnessing the power of data to accelerate the adoption of AI and robotics. Overall, SoliDAIR’s mission is to develop robust methods and tools that ensure the safety and dependability of AI and robotics systems in manufacturing.
