The event is composed of two parts:

  • Opening Ceremony & Networking Luncheon Reception: Celebrating South Korea's association to Horizon Europe pillar 2, this event will feature welcome remarks, keynote speech and panel discussion on related topics with a special focus on Horizon Europe Association and Artificial Intelligence. The event is open to all R&I stakeholders who are interested in Horizon Europe, Artificial Intelligence, and especially cooperation with South Korea.
  • Researchers Forum on AI: It will bring researchers from Korea and European countries to exchange their research and discuss potential joint application to Horizon Europe 2025 project. The KERC has selected 10 excellent Korean researcher in AI from prestigious universities and institutes with the help of Korean partners. Also, we have invited European researchers through our network.

The event will take place on the following venues:

The opening ceremony is an open event, and anyone interested can attend by registering via the following link: https://k-erc.eu/2025/03/horizon-europe-category/23535/
Forum participants (researchers) are automatically registered for both the opening ceremony and the luncheon reception. There is no need for separate registration.

The Forum will bring together 10 Korean researchers and 10 European researchers in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Each participant will have 30 minutes of sessions. 20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A and discussion.
 

  • Each participant will have a 30-minute session: 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A and discussion.
  • The presentation order will be randomly assigned and announced prior to the event.
  • There will be up to 10 observers present.

Adra acts as the private side for the AI, Data, Robotics public-private partnership in Horizon Europe.

Philip’s expertise encompasses strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and project execution. He has successfully managed and coordinated complex collaborative projects that support the research, innovation, and industrial agendas of regional, national and EU level, with a particular focus on key enabling technologies and digital industries.
