Climate change has affected many sectors, including the bioproduction industries and agriculture. Expectations are high. There is a growing need for solutions that would help these sectors deal with the current challenges and thrive. The EU-funded CLARUS project introduces such an innovative solution. Specifically, it will connect the sustainable paradigm of the food industry with artificial intelligence technology, offering these sectors the benefit of better communication, optimisation, automation, better control and efficiency. To do this, the project will assist and showcase several pilots that aim to reduce energy and water consumption using artificial intelligence and data technologies.
