Rapid advances in AI, data and robotics have created significant opportunities and challenges. Horizon Europe has funded numerous projects aimed at addressing these challenges and leveraging these opportunities to drive scientific excellence, industrial competitiveness and societal impact. It is essential that the results of these efforts are taken up by the relevant stakeholder communities active in the AI, Data, and Robotics (ADR) partnership.

To prepare for the European Convergence Summit, we are organizing a series of thematic workshops between 5 and 6 February, each one lasting 1⁄2 day. The question addressed in these workshops is “how can AI from robotics and Big Data combined help in a crisis situation”. It will be a matter of listening to the views, lessons learned from experts' experience to understand the issues and then examining how ADR technologies can help address these problems. The themes of these workshops are crises in :

1. ADR and Resilience in Manufacturing: Case of Supply Chain Issues, Critical Materials, Energy Supply, and More

2. ADR and Resilience in Civil Security: In the Event of Natural Disasters, Cybersecurity Challenges, and More

3. ADR and Resilience in Defense: In the Event of a Conflict, for Border Control, or Security within EU Countries

4.  ADR and Resilience in Healthcare: For Example, in the Event of a Pandemic

The event will took part at the Maison Irene et Frederic Joliot Curie, 100 Rue du Trône  1050 Brussels  Belgium.

The conclusions of these workshops will be presented at the European Convergence Summit on 9 April in Brussels at Concert Noble, Rue d'Arlon 82, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium. These may include recommendations on research topics, methods or infrastructure to be developed.
